County Criminal Records

Okay..so I recently applied or a job…

I passed the drug test and my background check was originally ‘flagged’…I kind of expected it to raise a red flag(because I have been arrested before), but my record is completely and totally sealed through the court system…

The 3rd party bckgrnd check vendor recently emailed me the results from my background check…and both the county and the federal background checks came up clean and empty.

But…on the other hand, Transunion reported a tidbit of my past criminal info (of which should be sealed as it was in the federal and state search)…the info that they reported was also inaccurate, outdated and incomplete. It even says that I am currently on probation(this was from over 6 years ago).

NOW..I am waiting to see what the verdict is on whether my background checked out or not.
—->Do you think that the fact of the Transunion info showing up will pretty much cancel my chances of getting the job?

At the bottom of the report it states: “4 searches complete—all is clear”(but of course 3 of my sealed charges show)

I’m anxious to know! The job said that if I don’t get the job….I will get info by US mail.

—>Are the contents of you background check ONLY sent to you when you DON’T get the job?

Okay (please bare with me)…my boyfriend is in prison for a crime he committed against me. There was a protective order placed against him an i that was terminated back in July 09. I was approved to visit him in November 09. In December, i drove 4 hours to visit with him, only to be denied, due to the fact they still show there being an active protective order between him and i. I sent the visiting Lt. to the prison, a copy of the termination of the protective order and a copy of my approval letter to visit. I later spoke to him asking what the remaining problem was and he told me that he shows “multiple” protective orders between him and i and that i would need to find the issuing county and get a paper stating that there is no such protective order (other than the one that has been terminated) in existence. My boyfriend does has another active protective order between him and his ex-girlfriend also named Jessica (different last name) in Orange County, CA. We live in Los Angeles County. Do you think that they are mistaking me and his ex for the same person? And how can i gain access to protective order records?? I’m soooooooooooooo confused!!! I asked why i would get an approval letter to visit if i wasn’t approved. He informed me that the letter of approval i recieved just states that my background check cleared. I know, I know, he doesn’t sound like a great guy and it is really confusing but PLEASE no negative comments and i SERIOUSLY need some advice on what i should do!!
i did not ruin his life, nor did i call police…it was a domestic dispute that the neighbors called the cops on thank you.

Ok here is the deal..Last night I was jumped and attacked in my hallway of my apartment by my girlfriend’s mom’s boyfriend.The police was called and he was taken to jail. I now have his full name on a police report and was wondering if I can obtain any other information on him like past charges,criminal/civil cases involving him.Basically I need a link that I can scroll court records that is considered public information for Cook County, Illinois(Chicago).I am looking for a free site ( I know there are a ton of ones that charge).Im just curious if this Jerk has ever been arrested before.Thanks to all that respond.

I want to get married , but my boyfriend has a warrant out for his arrest, does that arrest warrant show at the county records office, where we need to get our marriage license??? please help, any information helps.
I’ve been with him for 8 years and we have 3 kids, we wanna get married cause we wanna do things the right way now. the mistakes he did in the past are harsh, but he is a changed man. we all are. we have accepted Christ into our hearts and into our everyday lives. I put everything in Gods hands. I just wanted a little advice. Thank you all. even the mean ones.
